Family Counselling
Families are meant to be where we feel safe, seen, and supported, but that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes, things get messy. There are raised voices, long silences, or walking on eggshells. Even if the parts of the family have worked hard to heal their own painful pasts, there can be ongoing impacts for the family members who witnessed or experienced things that were really hard or painful. Those experiences leave marks and scars that don’t just disappear, and sometimes they show up in how the people feel and react, even after long periods of time has passed.
We work with families who carry deep hurt from the past, where things may have felt unsafe, confusing, or overwhelming at times. Past conflicts that have been seen or you have been a part of, can have long lasting impacts on families including partners, children and extended family members

Family counselling is a space to slow it all down
To bring safety to each person and to make sense of what’s been happening, and how it’s affecting everyone involved. It is a place to have your voice heard and to speak about your pain.
We work gently, helping each person feel heard and respected. We find ways for showing where they might have come from, and what each person really needs underneath the conflict.
Because families can change and healing is possible with the right care and support.

Who is family counselling for?
